This term we started celebrating our new values. At Paternoster we CARE – Courage, Ambition, Respect and Enjoyment. Thank you to all the parents, pupils and staff for helping us to choose the new values that really show what learning at Paternoster is all about.
Summer Fete
A big ‘Thank You’, to all the staff, families and members of our community who made the fete on Saturday a massive success. The rain didn’t stop us and everyone had a great time. The amazing setting up and clean up crew also need to be mentioned. We raised just over £1300!
Sports Day
Paternoster staff, pupils and parents managed to dodge the raindrops to take part in our sports days races. We showed our skills on the obstacle course and all came away with trophies! Some of our pupils enjoyed an indoor sports day in the hall and showed parents the exciting skills and activities we take part in at Paternoster.
Legoland
An amazing day was had by all of the 92 people who attended our school Legoland visit. A BIG thankyou to Happy Days for funding this experience for our young people and families and to all the staff that made this possible. Please view the gallery for more pictures of this day.
New pupils at Paternoster…
Following the family of robins leaving the nest (in our minibus) we have found more new pupils at Paternoster today. Two hedgehogs were carefully moved to a safe space on the school site. Outside the hydrotherapy pool was a bit too busy for them! The senior pupils will be making sure they have a house a suitable escape ramp, should the hedgehogs find themselves stuck again.
