Whole School day at Cattle Country
On Friday 13th June, our whole school excitedly boarded a bus and set off for a day at Cattle Country. This outing has become a valued tradition for us, as we’ve previously enjoyed the trip alongside the rest of the MAT. This year, The Milestone School and Paternoster School came together to uphold that tradition and spend a fun-filled day together at Cattle Country. A heartfelt thank you goes to The Pied Piper Appeal. Without their generous donation, this trip would not have been possible.
Exploring the Romans at Corinium Museum!
To kickstart our exciting new topic on the Romans, our pupils enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Corinium Museum in Cirencester. We were fascinated by the mosaics and loved learning about the foods Romans ate. A few highlights of the visit included arranging tiles to create our own version of the mosaics and getting to play the games that Roman children once enjoyed! The trip has inspired us all, and we can’t wait to continue our journey into Roman life as the term unfolds!
Parish Church Advent Tree Festival
We are thrilled to be part of the Parish Church Advent Tree Festival, a wonderful community event celebrating the festive season. Each class contributed handmade decorations to our tree, with Beech and Pine classes enjoying a special trip to the church to hang their creations. It’s been fantastic to join together with the local community for this tradition. The festival is open to visitors until 12th December, so do go along to see the beautiful trees on display and share in the festive spirit!

The walk took place around the local area and school grounds with the class coming together to support this great cause.
